I’m checking out this forum for the first time today. That’s a funny question, isn’t it? xD
Good? In use? Almost gone? Lonely and soon all alone in the yarn box?
I’m curious to see the answers that usually pop up here.

Hi Jenny,
welcome to our forum.
People here often discuss their yarn stash. Who’s been shopping, who’s used up their stash, how much yarn do you have left, who’s used up their leftover yarn, etc.
Maybe you’d like to join in, too.

My yarn is doing well. It’s steadily getting smaller and there’s a little less of it.

Unfortunately, my UFOs* are piling up too—I start something and then end up not being quite satisfied with it... Let’s see what this month brings in terms of new ideas and finished projects. 

My wool is slowly running out.
However, I still have enough to last for quite a while without having to buy more.

All my skeins are eagerly waiting to get on the hook. I’ve picked out a few that I plan to crochet into animal nests one by one. They’re all leftover skeins or yarn I didn’t really like. Quite a lot will come together.

At the same time, I’m currently thinking about my next bigger project. But I’m not quite sure yet. 

I think it’s really great that space is slowly opening up for new yarn. But I probably won’t buy any until next year. I’m determined to stick to a one-year yarn diet—mainly because I don’t want to buy a new closet. ;-)

I haven’t bought any yarn in quite a while. I still have so much at home—most of it is partially used and stored in a box... I’ve sorted it by color: blue box, red box, green box, white and yellow box, black and gray box.

That yarn is just waiting to be used 😋
But lately I’ve been spinning the yarn myself that I use for knitting, which is why I haven’t been buying any yarn 😋

That’s exactly how I did it, too—sorted by color.
Unfortunately, the pile isn’t shrinking very fast. Lately, I’ve been making a lot of small pieces.
But I’m sticking with it. 😉😉😉

Berli, when I see your yarn like that, I’m sure I have just as much. Mine is spread out in closets, dressers, and even in boxes. Oh my, that adds up to quite a few kilos. I always sort it by quality and type.
