Strawberry season! A few leftover yarn scraps in red, green, skin tone, white, and yellow are enough to crochet this cute little strawberry child. On the table together with a bowl of real berries, it is hard to tell it apart from them.

It will be about 12 cm tall, and its arms and legs can be bent thanks to an inserted wire. This way you can have it sit, stand, or walk, just however you’d like to decorate with it.

You can download the crochet pattern for the strawberry child here!

And if you want to crochet even more berries, then maybe this little basket with 6 different berries (strawberries, cherries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and red currants) is just right for you?

You can use it as a pretty little decoration or as an addition to a children's play kitchen or kids' grocery store. Along the way, you'll use up lots of small leftover yarn scraps that you otherwise might not know what to do with.

Here is the crochet pattern for the berry basket!

And since we’re on the topic of berries...

This clever pot holder can also be quickly crocheted from a few scraps of cotton yarn and makes a perfect decoration for your kitchen, especially this time of year!

You can knit this fun dishcloth in double-face technique from cotton leftovers in various colors. It knits up quickly and makes a great gift (not only) for dog lovers :-)

We’re two Finkli (baby shoes) and we belong together, which is why we’re called a pair of Finkli or baby shoes. We’re soft and keep little feet nice and warm. The babies who get us don’t want any others and are happy to wear us. We’re quick to knit and super easy to make. Leftover yarn is very welcome here, which makes it perfect for mixing and matching. That’s not the end of our story!! The exciting story continues via the following link:

For this shawl, I crocheted about 400 grams of my leftover yarn. The shawl is crocheted from top to bottom, so it can be made in any size you like. I recommend at least 800 m of yarn length.

The pattern repeat spans 2 rows, and you should know single crochet, chain stitches, and double crochet.

Here you can find the Restli shawl
