Crocheting the Siargao Dress

Hi, does anyone know the Siargao dress by doitwithlove? I’m currently crocheting the dress and got stuck on the slit. I don’t understand how to crochet the slit with an overlap—maybe one of you can help me. I’m also in touch with Rasa, but unfortunately I don’t understand what she’s trying to tell me about the dress. I’d be so incredibly grateful if someone could give me a tip. Hugs, Marion
