Hardworking little helpers: How’s it going?

dear little helpers,
what are you working on today?

Hi. Since I finished the teddy monkey yesterday, I just went down to the basement to get some leftover yarn and am now going to crochet some placemats for the garden table.

The table is so bare and white—it’s driving me crazy. 

Maybe I’ll finish knitting my new top today. The evening’s still young, after all. ;-)

I’ve crocheted a few rounds on my RvO crochet sweater. It just isn’t going as smoothly as I’d like because the rounds are so big. I’ve already done some unraveling and started over three times because I kept ending up with more stitches in the back than in the front.
But I’m slowly working through my yarn stash.

Then I simply sewed my two mosaic crochet swatches together and turned them into a little wallet with a zipper.

The head and body of a little guardian angel are finished, and my shawl has grown by a few rows. But I have to take care of my wrist—it’s been taking a bit of a beating from tedious weeding in rock-hard soil and from extensive crocheting.

Today I crocheted a colorful teddy bear out of leftover yarn.

I’m currently experimenting with solid shampoo—figuring out which binding agent in what amount goes with which oil, how much and which surfactant is actually right for my hair, and which oil I tolerate best... right now, it looks a bit like a lab in here, with lots of little test vials, and my notes are getting longer and longer...

Every spring during pollen season, I suddenly react to products that I usually tolerate well. Now I’m trying to figure out what’s really good for me.

Yesterday I mailed the little socks for my granddaughter—I finished them over Easter. I can’t start a new knitting project right now, because yesterday while sewing and trimming, I accidentally cut my left index finger with the appliqué scissors, so I can’t hold knitting needles like this.
