For a good cause.

Dear everyone,
I have been a member here for many years and already have 4 folders full of patterns, all from here. Today, in these times of coronavirus, I am turning to you with a request. My daughter works locally in a nursing home and keeps telling me how sad the residents are now because they can’t have any visitors anymore. This afternoon, while I was crocheting a little guardian angel, my daughter came by and saw what I was making. She said, “That is so cute—would you like to crochet little angels like that for the residents?” I said I’d be very happy to, but I can’t make that many on my own. But I have an idea, and that’s where you come in! Would you help me bring a little joy to these people and ease their sadness a bit? I would be very happy. That’s a wonderful idea, Paula! I’m sure there are plenty of crocheters who’d love to support you.

I’ll ask around here at the nursing home and see what I can do. We can’t let these people down now. They need us to be there for them, even if it’s just through small gestures like this. They do a world of good.
