I put my knitting needles away for a bit and pulled out a jigsaw puzzle again for the first time in a long time. It’s time to dig out some things I’ve been neglecting.

My birthday visit to a dear friend has been postponed, and visits to the nursing home are prohibited, so I’ll just put my feet up and watch the snow swirling merrily.

Have a lovely rest of the weekend, everyone!

Yesterday we had wonderful weather, and I spent the whole afternoon in the garden. I cut back the faded flowers and planted some horned violets. That was a great way to relax.



I took my crocheted eggs out of the box and decorated the Easter tree in the garden too.

Thank goodness it’s raining today. That means everyone will stay home again, which is for the best right now.

I also wish everyone a wonderful rest of their Sunday. The sun is shining here, and we went for a walk in nature, right behind our house.

Stay healthy or get well soon, and enjoy the many little things that make life good. We appreciate them so much more now.

After a few spring-like days, it’s gotten cold here and it’s snowing—just in time for daylight saving time.

Yesterday and today were truly wonderful days in the garden

At Petra’s place, everything is blooming so beautifully. That’s what’s missing here; everything is still gray.
And it’s not snowing here. The sun has come out, but it’s very windy and chilly.
Other than that, I wish everyone a good start to the week, and hope you make time for your hobbies. Stay healthy and simply enjoy your time at home.

It’s snowing right now… Nature is still holding back a bit; I think the real blooming will start as soon as the evening temperatures stay above freezing—that should be in about ten days.
