Dear users, dear authors,
do you currently have a lot of UFOs = unfinished projects/crafts?

here too, I’m only making progress in small steps.....

I have a UFO that still has to wait a bit before it “lands.” Right now, I’d rather be knitting. Once the UFO has “landed,” it’ll be a crocheted sleeping bag for dolls.

Unfortunately, my UFOs are multiplying—there must be a nest somewhere.

I really don’t understand how anyone can end up with piles of UFOs—that’s my honest opinion on the matter. My oldest daughter easily manages to have 4–5 UFOs lying around. I just don’t get it—I might have one unfinished project lying around at most (usually the one I’m currently working on), but before I start anything else, I finish that one first. That’s what my grandfather taught me back when I was a kid.

My UFOs are: a sock, a tablecloth, and a summer hat—which I’m currently working on.

I have UFOs, too... quite a few... actually, quite a lot.... definitely in the double digits... both crocheted, knitted, and sewn.... but that’s just how I am... and I’m working through them bit by bit right now... so that’s the plan :-)

I’ve got a few UFOs lying around too—though still in the single digits—waiting to be finished.
My problem is that I work on several projects at once because otherwise it gets so boring, or I lose my motivation if I work on one project for too long. Now that I have the time, I can finally finish them.

But I also agree with Akela —that’s how it should be: finish the old project before starting something new. Unfortunately, my “inner slacker” is often stronger.

I haven’t counted them, but there are definitely quite a few—especially since I’m working on several things at once (so more like WIPs). I do try to finish the projects I’ve started first, but that doesn’t work with CALs, for example. Plus, right now I need a little pick-me-up in the form of a small Easter decoration every now and then, so the bigger projects just have to wait. I really hope that soon I’ll be able to bring those ancient UFOs back out of hiding and finish them up!

What seems to be multiplying without much effort on my part are the dust bunnies on the floor and the UFOs in my knitting basket.

Since February, there have been more rather than fewer, even though I’ve been crocheting nonstop.

The latest addition is a blanket where I can’t decide whether the border should be pink or blue. Or maybe brown after all?

I agree with Akela: one thing at a time. Right now, I still have to knit one more sock to complete the pair. Last night, though, I didn’t feel like working on it anymore, but before I start anything new, I’ll finish knitting this one sock first. Luckily, it’s going quickly since I’m knitting it with double yarn.

I’ll admit it honestly: I’m one of those UFO collectors, too!

I still have lots of UFOs lying around, some of them even several years old. Maybe a small mistake happened, for example, or I spotted a new, prettier design.
But I’ve already improved and finished some UFOs.

I don’t have too many UFOs lying around; mostly these are projects where I’m not quite sure yet what they’re going to become—whether to keep going or rip them out after all… Otherwise, I like to have a few WIPs so I can keep working on whatever I feel like at the moment.
I need variety in the materials and in whether it’s crocheted tightly or loosely… clothing or figures, or even something completely different.
But there are also some things—like a sofa blanket recently—that I might put off for a while.
