To the Authors: Topic: Product Photos from Customers

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if you get notified by CP when customers upload photos of models they've made themselves using your patterns? Provided, of course, that the customers also tag the photos with the corresponding patterns...

Why not post your work in the gallery? Everyone can see it there—including the authors! I wish you the best of luck

As far as I know, the photos I upload under the pattern as “customer photos” appear in the gallery anyway. But not every author checks the gallery photos regularly.
To clarify, I didn’t mean sending the photo to the author via private message, but rather letting them know that you’ve uploaded a photo for the pattern.

I think I understand what you mean… For my part, I enjoy looking through the gallery… and when I spot something I made—that is, something made using my patterns—I usually leave a comment… a compliment, of course… For me, that’s part of customer service. Best regards

Yes, praise is generally such a wonderful thing!
You enjoy a pattern, have fun working through it, and then take pride in the result of your own creation—AND on top of that, you get praise from the designer! That’s what I call a wonderful all-around happiness package for the soul ♡

That’s one of the reasons I love shopping here so much. The interaction with the authors creates a great sense of connection and a warm atmosphere.
