Dear users, dear designers,
do you currently have lots of leftover yarn / yarn scraps / lots of remaining yarn?

Since I have a lot of colorful leftover yarn, I’m currently turning some of it into a cute little skirt for my granddaughter. I just turned another scrap into a practical and pretty shawl collar.

Yes, I have wool—lots of wool, too much wool. I’m currently cleaning out my stash and would like to part with some of it.
Maybe someone works in a creative or charitable field where there’s always a need for more wool for knitting, crocheting, or crafts. I’d mainly like to get rid of the acrylic yarns.

If anyone is interested, feel free to message me. I’d be happy to give the wool away, but I’d like to be reimbursed for the shipping costs. Of course, we can discuss the quantities and colors beforehand.

Best regards, Ina

I’m still working through my well-aged yarn and, as Ina writes, I’m in the middle of tidying up.

I’ve now turned 1.6 kg of yarn into yarn nests, and you can’t even tell. There’s yarn everywhere.

But it’s doing fine—my yarn and I are doing just fine with so much yarn around me.

Just today, a colleague gave me some leftover yarn. It’s wonderfully soft and has some silk in it. I just can’t bring myself to part with it—the colors are so gorgeous, too. There are still two whole balls left—just think of all the things I can whip up with them (daydreaming).

Right now, I’m hard at work incorporating lots of leftover yarn into my chair cover. It’s for the kitchen, and I like it colorful. But I think that’s just a drop in the bucket. Or should I say a tiny bit of yarn in a huge mountain of yarn...

Dear Ina, the preschool here is always grateful for yarn donations. They have my number now, and when they need something, they just call or send a WhatsApp message. I can always find something in my yarn stash that they can use—and that I haven’t needed for a long time.
It’s a win-win situation.
