Hardworking little helpers: How are you wrapping up January?

what are you working on right now?

Yesterday I finished my blanket.
Many years ago, I bought 18 sets—3 different colors, 2 different patterns (sample pieces at the factory outlet for 1 euro each, and I was in a yarn frenzy and couldn’t resist). I wanted to use them as placemats, but I didn’t end up liking the material for that, so they lay forgotten in the closet. Now, while doing my spring cleaning, I came across them. 



Then I had the idea to turn them into a blanket. It’s now 1.22 m x 1.70 m—bigger than I thought it would be. But I like it.



Now I’ve picked out some yarn; I want to knit a new scarf, collar, or cowl. Let’s see what catches my eye. 

Over the last two days, I’ve sewn two little bags that can be worn either as a crossbody bag or a waist bag

I just crocheted a teddy bear cover for a grain-filled heat pad (on the left in the picture). I modeled it after a teddy bear pillow cover that I sewed a few years ago (on the right in the picture). But this time, I wanted a crocheted one. I think it turned out really cute.
Right now, I’m writing the pattern for it.

To wrap up the month, I’m knitting a pair of thick socks for myself. The second sock will probably be finished tomorrow.

I also embroidered a bag charm for my new bag; the design is on my embroidery machine

I just finished two cowl scarves and a hat for my husband, and I’ll wrap up the month by making a loop scarf for him.

I’ve finished my crocheted mouse—the first one has already left my home. This one is staying with me.

I squeezed in a little something yesterday that should be finished today.

I finished my table runner last night; it’s still drying—I’ll post a photo as soon as the pins are out! Meanwhile, my knitted shawl is steadily growing, and today I want to start a new crocheted net.
