This is something very special!

Gauge: 25 sts /29 rows

This colorful raglan jacket will be needed soon, when the little ones are playing and romping outside again in spring. It’s comfortable and has everything needed outdoors, such as pockets and a hood. 

The jacket grows with the child a bit. It fits from about size 92 up to at least 104.

Even babies need a cozy, warm jacket right after they’re born. This one is somewhat reminiscent of traditional folk wear. It features a pretty lace pattern and a hood. It was knitted from thicker cotton, which can easily be swapped out for merino wool, depending on the season.

The jacket fits a newborn right away and, depending on size, up to about 5–6 months.

Materials needed:

• A 4-ply plied gradient yarn with a total yardage of approx. 1500 m was used here (yarn consumption is
  of course dependent on the width and length - in this example, size
  36/38 was crocheted. For each additional size, I recommend approx. 200 m more yarn
• Any crochet hook suitable for the yarn - here size 3.5

Crochet pattern “Autumn Storm Jacket”

is a cozy, thick jacket that’s perfect for the cold season.
With a hood or collar, with or without pockets. 3 differently combined patterns, unisex.

It can be crocheted in any size you like, and even beginners will manage with the very detailed pattern. No side seams.

Not really suitable for gradient yarns!

Required materials, example size S–M:

• In this example, approx. 2100 m of yarn with a yardage of 238 m/100 g was used. For each additional size
  42/44, 46/48, 50/52, 54/56... plan for about 300 m more yarn each. Of course, you can also use
  any other yarn.
• Crochet hook suitable for the yarn (size 5 here)
• 3 to 6 buttons (button size depends on the yarn weight – here Ø 2.8 mm)
• possibly 2 cord stoppers
