did you have a great weekend? What are you doing today?

Hey there! It’s been a while since this question was posted, but I’ll answer it anyway. I had a weekend full of crocheting. That’s nice in itself, but does anyone else experience this? When you crochet things for others, you really like them, but as soon as you crochet something for yourself, you don’t like the result... 😑 It frustrates me immensely. And it’s happened to me so many times already… It’s not even that the result is crooked or poorly made. It turned out exactly as it should have, and yet all of a sudden I just don’t like it anymore… Do you know what I mean?

I'll answer too, a bit late. I had to work over the weekend, but now I'm doing well because I have 3 days off to relax and crochet, and I want to try a few exercises (joint mobility).

Peppermint tea, for me it's more the other way around. As long as I'm crocheting something for myself, everything is great, and I'm motivated too, I can let my creativity run free, but as soon as I crochet something for someone else, e.g. for a colleague, you have to work more carefully, with as few mistakes as possible, and wonder whether they'll like it the way they wanted it—then I lose motivation now and then because the project “drags on,” since I really want to make something for myself again.
