Leftover yarn in two different colors and a crochet hook, plus a little time to crochet  and of course the crochet pattern - and you’ll have a pretty romantic table decoration for Valentine’s Day in no time. The heart with the crocheted-in heart can be made as a cutlery pocket and as a coaster. But of course you can also use it in other ways: as a pincushion, gift tag, flower pick, window decoration...

Leftover yarn is usually enough for pretty egg cozies, too: Here, for example, the hare and the hedgehog meet for their famous race. Both are quick and easy to crochet and make a cute table decoration, especially in spring.

And here's another great idea for using up small leftovers: bookmarks! If you have thinner yarn left over, this is an ideal project! The Frog Prince was made with Catania cotton yarn by Schachenmayr (LL = 125m/50g).

With the Tamburin Shawl, you can use up plenty of leftover yarn, since the pattern can be knitted out indefinitely.
The shawl is edged with 100g of solid-colored yarn, and at least 6 x 20g of leftover yarn are used in the center.
The two patterns are explained in detail and also illustrated with charts.

Lots of leftover yarn can find a place in this crocheted balloon cover.

Individual granny squares are crocheted, which we then crochet together at the end. The balloon is well protected in the cover during play, and it can be easily removed and replaced for washing.

I show you how to make the cover in the pattern with lots of pictures.
