The colorful little birds fit nicely on the branches of the Christmas tree and are quick and easy to crochet. Use up your tiny amounts of colorful cotton yarn!

Or would you prefer little mice?

They are just as easy to crochet and are also great if you want to wrap a cash gift (“mice”) nicely.
If you want them to look a bit more Christmassy, you can put a little Santa hat on them:

You can hang the colorful star gnomes on the tree individually or string them together as a garland. They’re great fun not only at Christmas time.

With all these projects, you can wonderfully make good use of the tiniest amounts of leftover yarn.

The Double Loop is quick to knit with a simple two-color brioche pattern. The pattern includes instructions for two different sizes, depending on the yarn you use. The version made with sock-weight yarn can be worn either as a double loop or as a poncho.

This colorful balloon cover is a hit with little kids.

The individual granny squares are quick to crochet and are then sewn together. There’s a small opening left for changing the balloon. With the balloon well protected, it’s great for playing ball.
