DIY Baking Mixes in Jars

Since when have these baking mixes and instructions for putting jars together, mixing the ingredients, and printing labels been everywhere? Well, as far as I understand, they’re mostly given as gifts.
I think that’s a very nice gesture, even though you obviously still have to put in some work and do the baking before you can eat the cookies—or whatever they’re supposed to be.
