I've spruced up my old door wreath

For the first day of Advent, I’m giving you a candle and an angel to go with it. It’s sitting on our table.

Finally, the Advent calendar can begin—this year we’re building the Lego Ranch Rover. We’ll spend an hour tinkering together every day; since I’m a huge Lego fan, it’s kind of addictive. I got this Advent calendar from a friend. Every day you have to solve a puzzle to find the right page where it continues. Today I had to decipher a code.

Pretty handy for a hospital stay.

Friday the 13th! Are you superstitious? Hopefully not!
In any case, here’s something for everyone: a few good-luck charms!

I kind of had a Friday the 13th kind of day—I wanted to be really organized today and tidy up my current supplies—but then I stumbled upon a mess in the closet, which I really didn’t like at all. So sorting and cleaning up took a full 6 hours, until my sweetheart audibly demanded food... We were actually planning to go out to eat, but ended up just raiding the freezer and improvising.

Some days, I really get in my own way...
