Joining two pieces together using double crochet

How do you join the two pieces together?
Can anyone explain this or provide some pictures?

Crochet them together! — of course!

Hi Ulrike, what are you trying to crochet together?

For example, I’ve already crocheted granny squares together to make a blanket. 



But you can also crochet two pieces together using single crochet stitches. Either from the wrong side so you can’t see it, or so that the seam is visible, like with my dinosaur.



Personally, I’ve never crocheted two pieces together using double crochet.
