With this original money gift, your Christmas greetings will be twice as well received; once the sack has been emptied, the picture is still a fun decoration for the Christmas season.

Leftover cotton and plush yarn in the corresponding colors is enough.
It is crocheted with chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet.

The pattern is written in a beginner-friendly way without abbreviations.

A wonderful leftover yarn project is crocheted nativity figures - you can get creative and let your imagination run wild. The figures are about 10 cm tall. That makes them exactly the right size so they’re not too fiddly, but on the other hand they don’t take up too much space either.

You think it’s already too late for that this year? No, if you start now, you’ll definitely still manage the basic set:

Mary, Joseph, Jesus, ox, donkey, star

If you still have time and feel like it, you can expand your nativity scene. If time is short, simply put the expansion off until next Christmas. Then you can calmly crochet a few figures now and then throughout the year.

As expansion sets, you’ll find the patterns in my shop for
Shepherds, sheep, and Christmas angels
as well as
The 3 kings with camel, elephant, and horse

I hope you have lots of fun with this creative crochet project!

Magical Christmas tree ornaments can be crocheted from small amounts of leftover yarn.
First, there are traditional tree ornaments like
Bell, Angel, Star, Snowflake
You can use cotton or glitter yarn for these, just as you like. Either way, it looks beautiful.

But also
  Rudi the Moose
makes himself comfortable among the branches of your Christmas tree. After Christmas, he can then accompany you as a keychain or bag charm.

The little
Polar Bear Björn
naturally wants to be there too. He also likes hanging in the Christmas tree.

And
 sweet little angels
definitely belong on the Christmas tree too, of course. If you put musical instruments in their hands, you'll have a whole heavenly orchestra hanging in your Christmas tree!

All these tree ornaments can be made with just a few scraps of leftover yarn and also make great gift tags for your Christmas packages.

A beautiful, colorful garland of star gnomes decorates the entryway. These little gnomes are quick to crochet and make a great colorful decoration—not just during the Christmas season. You’ll need about 20 g of cotton yarn for one gnome.

These Christmas egg cozies. make a quick little gift. All you need is a few bits of leftover yarn in Christmas colors. Santa, the snowman, and the Christmas angel can decorate your breakfast table as early as the first Sunday of Advent—even if you don’t actually eat eggs for breakfast.

How about a pretty white star? You can decorate with it anywhere—for example, in a Christmas arrangement or as a gift tag. It is crocheted first and then stiffened. That makes it usable anywhere, and it won’t collapse. It can be reused every year.

I hope you enjoy this little handmade project. Yours, Ina

Simply Loop is super quick to make, and you’ll only need 2 x 50 g of yarn with a yardage of 320 m per 100 g - or you can simply knit the pattern using several bits of leftover yarn. As the name suggests, the pattern is very simple.

Cute little projects that bring LOTS of joy and require LITTLE yarn
The detailed crochet patterns guide you step by step to a fantastic result!

The Advent Knobblys are small bag charms that are only about 7 to 8 cm tall. They also look absolutely enchanting as decorations, on a keychain, or even on the Christmas tree ♥
You’ll need no more than 20 g of one color per Knobbly (cotton, 125 m/50 g).

For the littleChristmas tree ornaments you’ll need even less yarn! For different sizes, you can use any yarn with the matching hook size. After that, there are no limits to your decorating creativity! Decorate them with beads, little buttons, bows, etc.
- crocheted twice and sewn together, they also make absolutely adorable Christmas tree ornaments
- crocheted twice with thicker yarn and lightly stuffed, they look great as decorations on the windowsill ♥

You’ll also need very little cotton for the cute striped angels. About 10 g of each color per angel. They are only about 8 to 9 cm tall and wide enough to hide a small LED tea light under their dress ♥
