Tip for a door wreath

After taking a creative break, I’ve continued working on the door wreath. 

What do you think—should I leave it like this, or is something still missing?

How about adding the date of birth? Or at least the year of birth. I don’t quite remember what occasion you’re giving it as a gift for. It would definitely be a good fit for a birthday.

I seem to recall that the parents do something with forklifts—could that be right?

I think your door wreath turned out great! I wouldn’t add much more to it—otherwise it’ll look too cluttered. At most, I’d add the birthdate like Monika suggested, but that’s really all it needs.

I might add a touch of red or black (though that would probably be too dark). Maybe a ribbon looped around the large yellow sections (before and after the name), which could also be used to hang the wreath.

Other than that, I think the wreath is perfect. I really like your forklift—it’s a great gift.

The year of birth would still fit on it, that’s true.

But I wouldn’t use a ribbon to hang it up; I’d use a thick string or cord instead. You could perhaps wrap part of it around the wreath and then make a loop at the top.

If you still want to add the date of birth, I can easily imagine it arranged like this, Sandra:
the day before Pia, the month after the name, and the year underneath the forklift.

I really like the idea of including the birth date. I’ll have a think about it.

The cord is also a good idea. But since the forklift is already sewn on firmly, that might be difficult.
