Hi Josefa!
We’ve finally made it through the weekend, and now we’re diving into the new week with gusto *yawn*
Right now I’m cooking according to WW because my husband wants to lose weight, and it doesn’t hurt the rest of us either. So today we’re having pork tenderloin with a fall mushroom medley and rosemary potatoes, WW-style. For me, this is also a chance to break out of the daily rut that lunch usually brings. Since I don’t have to work again until next weekend, I’m hoping to finally make some progress on my knitted scarf—and ideally even finish it.
I wish you all a great start to the new week!
I also wish everyone a great start to the new week!
It’s foggy and overcast here. I’m about to whip up a delicious mushroom stir-fry with vegetable noodles. The weather is perfect for knitting, and that’s exactly what I’ll be doing today—curled up under a blanket on the sofa.
It’s mostly gray and foggy here, and above all very chilly—actually, downright cold! The sun came out briefly around noon, but of course it didn’t really warm things up much. So now I’m looking forward to the evening: knitting or crocheting on the sofa while watching TV, with a cozy blanket within reach… But first I still have to finish the quince cake for dinner and then take care of some office work.
Today was a typical November day—the kind of season with temperatures you’d expect—which hasn’t been the case here in a long time. Since my children—and now my grandchildren—have grown up, St. Martin’s Day no longer holds any significance for me.
It was cold here too, but the air was still nice and fresh. I’m still battling my bronchitis, so I didn’t do much.
We had pea soup for dinner tonight. It was delicious again.
I wish you all a pleasant week too, despite the bad weather. You’re still doing pretty well there.
Here in Norway, winter arrived 3 days ago. Today I shoveled snow for the first time. Actually, the snow was long overdue, although it could have waited a bit longer. Oh well.
The next few days are supposed to bring yucky sleet weather, and then the whole thing might freeze over too. We’ll see.
That makes crafting just the right thing to do, along with a nice cappuccino—perfect.
In sunshine, which is missing at the moment, it looks so wonderful in winter.
