What would St. Nicholas Day be without a St. Nicholas boot? If you can’t or don’t want to fill outdoor shoes, you can crochet a St. Nicholas boot yourself instead and then fill it. Given as a gift this way, it’s sure to bring lots of joy.

And if you’d rather give a St. Nicholas or Christmas gift in a lovely bag, this one is recommended. It is crocheted and has a sturdy base. Measuring 20 x 9 x 19 cm, it’s a nice size that works well for children.

And for a beautifully decorated table, you need a few handmade things too. Here I can recommend the lovely ice crystal. It is crocheted and stiffened, so you can use it as decoration anywhere.

I’d like to suggest a wonderful decoration for the Advent season and Christmas that can be made quickly and easily in three steps. First, you’ll need to do a
little crocheting, then fold the pieces, and finally decorate everything with beads.
These decorations are also perfect as Christmas tree ornaments (approx. 8 cm x 10 cm) for the holidays.

If you’d like to use the Advent season to get into the Christmas spirit, then Christmas crafting is a wonderfully fitting activity for that.

With this model, you can also conjure up part of your decorations yourself, even if crafting hasn’t been one of your strengths so far.

This tea light holder is made from photo cardstock, measures approx. 15.5 x 4 cm, and is very easy to make.

No snow outside this winter? Hand-crocheted snowflakes in the window, for example, bring a wintry touch and, of course, Christmas spirit. Perfect for the Advent season! The snowflakes are ideal as coasters for tea lights, mugs, or as Christmas tree ornaments

An Advent calendar can certainly make the wait until Christmas much more enjoyable, but it does take up space. This one is very practical in that regard, as it’s very slim and can be placed on even the narrowest of surfaces.

The Advent calendar is made of photo cardstock, measures approximately 33 x 28.5 x 6.5 cm, and is very easy to make. You can replace the painted numbers with number stickers of a similar size. The calendar is very sturdy and can be reused multiple times.

Are you still looking for a few little things to fill your children's Advent calendar with? How about these Christmas finger puppets? You can quickly crochet the snowman, St. Nicholas, and reindeer from a few bits of leftover yarn. They help make the wait until Christmas shorter for children, because they can use them to invent and act out wonderful Advent stories.
You can find the crochet pattern here!

These crocheted egg cozies are a must-have for a festively set breakfast table—even if you don’t eat eggs for breakfast—because Santa, the snowman, and the angel are real eye-catchers even as simple table decorations. Gather up some leftover yarn in Christmas colors, and you’re ready to go!
Tip: These egg cozies also make an original Secret Santa gift!

A lovely, contemplative activity is making a nativity scene during Advent.

The nativity figures can be wonderfully crocheted from leftover yarn you already have. They are about 10 cm tall, so they are not too small and fiddly to crochet, but on the other hand not too large, so they do not take up too much space.
In my shop you will find the following patterns:

Holy Family, ox and donkey, star

3 Kings, elephant, camel, horse

Shepherds, sheep, angel
