How are you today?

how are you, how's it going, what are you up to?

I’m doing pretty well :) except that I have waaaay too much to do.

I’ve been on maternity leave for 4.5 weeks now, and yeah… Somehow this is more stressful than working.
Sooo much work at home that I still have to/want to do. Things you don’t usually have time for.

Actually, I thought I’d just be crocheting and relaxing during this time. But no such luck :D
I’ve managed to make a total of 3 little amigurumis (for a mobile) during this time, and yesterday I started on the 4th one.

Well, maybe I’ll finish it tonight :D 

Dear Krea_Tina, when I was five months pregnant with my twins and my OB-GYN told me I couldn’t go to work anymore—just to give you some context, I’m a machine tool technician and had been working on heavy, dangerous machinery—my whole world came crashing down. From one moment to the next, I was at home and had no idea what to do with myself for a full two weeks. Then I was admitted to the hospital because of cervical shortening—I’d been running around the house like a madwoman, since I felt fine.
That’s when I rediscovered needlework and crocheted two mobiles right away.
I just want to say that once you’ve taken care of everything for your little one who’s still growing inside you, enjoy the time you still have all to yourself.
That’s going to change in the blink of an eye—you have a challenging but truly wonderful time ahead of you. Just enjoy the feeling of your little one moving and every kick you feel; everything else can wait.

I’ll admit I miss my job and my coworkers, but I’ve been with you guys for almost a year now, and that means a lot to me—even if my designs are a bit unique, I can still make someone happy with them every now and then ;)
