Woolly Wednesday: Who has a great gradient yarn cake?

Dear users, dear designers,
Who has bought (no) yarn? Who has a new gradient yarn cake or new effect yarn? How are the leftover yarn doing?

Why do the yarn piles grow faster than you can crochet or knit?

There’s absolutely nothing you can do about this yarn virus. The moment you see and touch yarn in your favorite colors and qualities, it’s over. Images of things you want to knit or crochet with it start forming in your head. It’s very hard to resist.

That’s exactly what happened to me last night. My absolute favorite cozy cashmere yarn, Superior by Filatura di Crosa, was on sale—plus free shipping—and in a new color I’m really into right now (sienna). I couldn’t resist; now three skeins are on their way to my home. And I already know what I’m going to knit with it. Unfortunately, the other projects will have to be put on hold.

I’ve got butterflies in my stomach in anticipation of the yarn :-)
