The color campaigns here on CP are always a challenge for us authors. The colors to be used are fixed, and new models then have to be designed from them.

From this year's current autumn color promotion (red - orange - yellow - green - brown) come these crocheted decorative covers for candy jars. They’re perfect for packaging sweets, as well as cash gifts, in a personalized way.

At the beginning of 2019, I shared the following item for the colors white - gray - violet : a sweet bunny rattle with an integrated rattle egg  - a great gift for parents-to-be, even outside of Easter. The eggs can also be crocheted separately as Easter decorations.

And then there is the Clown Pippa stick rattle - from the summer 2018 color promotion with the colors hot pink - pink - white - apple green. Also suitable for leftover yarn and a great new baby gift.

My contribution to the current Fall 2019 color campaign is this dishcloth / potholder "Happy Dog". It is knitted in double-face, so the cloth looks great on both sides. Experienced knitters can work it up quickly, making it ideal as a very personal gift for any dog lover.

In January 2019, I contributed this cuddly shawl "Caresse" in the colors gray, white, and violet to the color campaign. The knitted shawl can be worn over the shoulders or as a warming scarf. Since it is so cozy, you almost look forward to the cold season! It is relatively easy to make; a little knitting experience should of course be present.

Crochet Pattern Sweater "Ice Crystal"
The pattern inserted in the center makes it a very special eye-catcher.

The sweater is worked from top to bottom (Rvo) and can be made in any desired size.

You can crochet it using a written pattern, or work from a crochet chart.

Material:

• 4-ply gradient yarn (Bobbel) was used here (of course, you can also use 3-ply yarn or yarns with a similar yardage
• crochet hook matching the yarn (size 3.5 in this example)
• Sizes 32/34/36 - approx. 1550 m – 1650 m
• Sizes 38/40/42 - approx. 1700 m – 1800 m
• Sizes 44/46/48 - approx. 1900 m – 2100 m
• From size 50 - from approx. 2200 m -

Whether with long sleeves for colder days, with 3/4 sleeves for spring/summer, or as a dress, you can customize it individually to suit your wishes.

With this pattern, you can make it in any size and length you like and use any yarn and hook size; the process is explained in detail.

Required materials (example size 36/38 ):

• 1700 m of 4-ply gradient yarn was used here (50% cotton, 50% acrylic), no. 161 from Woll-Archiv MJ
  . For each additional size, I recommend planning for approx. 300 m more yarn. (size 40–44 =
  approx. 2000 m, size 46/48 = approx. 2300 m, size 50/52 = approx. 2600 m ….. )
• Crochet hooks size 3.5 + size 4
• possibly beads for decoration

I’ve been happily taking part in the color campaigns since summer 2017. It’s always a lovely challenge to create a project using the specified colors. Here are my projects:

bow tie. And my partner is decorated with butterflies on her shoes
and wears a short skirt. Ideal as a gift, toy, or simply as decoration.

-> a beautiful eye-catcher in any child’s room or garden, cushion cover consists of 2 parts that are closed with handmade round ball buttons, stuffed flower

Here I’ll show you my contributions to the color campaigns



In 2016, I contributed a pattern for a balloon cover to the color campaign.

You crochet individual granny squares, which are then sewn together at the end. The balloon is safely stored inside. It can be easily replaced through a hidden opening.



In 2017, I shared a crochet pattern for baby booties in the colors light green, dark green, blue, and natural.

These booties have a sole length of 9–10.5 cm (depending on the yarn length and hook size).

Basic knowledge of single crochet, chain stitches, and half double crochet is required. A lovely project for using up yarn scraps.



In summer 2017, the specified colors were white, gray, and turquoise. Of course, this baby blanket can also be crocheted using more or fewer colors. You can also adjust the size to suit your needs.

You should be familiar with single crochet, chain stitches, and double crochet.

I designed this colorful pyramid for the very first color campaign in the summer of 2016. You can get especially creative with this original gift box. My tip: Take advantage of the pyramid’s shape and hide little surprises in its corners.



This gift box is made of cardstock, measures approximately 18.5 x 13.5 x 18.5 cm, and is very easy to make yourself.
