Clothing: better knitted or crocheted?

When it comes to clothing, do you prefer knitted items or crocheted ones, or does it depend on the type of clothing? Let me know what you think.

When it comes to clothing, I definitely prefer knitting, especially since I like knitting better anyway.
It’s just softer, more comfortable, and more stretchy. 

I prefer knitted sweaters, jackets, and socks. They’re softer and more supple than crocheted ones. For example, if I want a ribbed sweater, I knit 2, purl 2. If I were to crochet this, I’d have to use front and back post double crochets, which significantly increases yarn usage, making the sweater much heavier and stiffer than the knitted version.
Summer tops with beautiful openwork or mesh patterns, on the other hand, are (for me) easier to crochet. The large stitches and many chain stitches make them flexible and supple.
It all has its pros and cons, but in the end, it mainly comes down to which type of needlework you personally enjoy more.
