What's the best way to write patterns and publish them here?

Once you’ve set everything up, the real work begins—writing the pattern.

What exactly do you have in mind? What kind of crafts do you do? Knitting, crocheting, sewing, crafts, ...?
Have you ever looked at patterns by other authors? Which ones do you find easy to follow, and which ones less so—and why is that in each case?
How much experience do you have with your type of craft so far?—Have you been doing it for many years and mastered all kinds of techniques? Or are you still fairly new to it?

And what kind of projects suit you best?—By that I mean, some people are wonderful at sewing, knitting, or crocheting clothing, others love scarves and shawls, and still others focus more on amigurumi… what’s your specialty? Or are you more of a generalist who likes to do a little bit of everything?

.... I know there are a lot of questions you might ask yourself—but trust me, it’ll help you find your niche.

Writing patterns is also a matter of practice.
At least that’s how it seems to me.

There can be worlds between “I know what is meant” and “the customer understands it this way, too.”
It’s best if others can read your pattern and also make it from your instructions.

I’m happy when someone points out mistakes or something that’s missing to me.
I most likely wouldn’t have noticed it myself.
