You can find a very easy-to-crochet Christmas tree ornament here in this pattern. Star, snowflake, angel, and bell always look elegant, whether you crochet them from glitter yarn or solid-colored cotton. The work goes quickly, so you can crochet enough pieces to decorate the Christmas packages with them too.

These little angels are also quick and easy to crochet. They measure about 8 cm, and each one plays a different instrument. Decide for yourself whether you want to place them under the Christmas tree or hang them from the branches. And as a little guardian angel, one of these heavenly creatures makes an ideal gift tag.

For many people, moose are an essential part of Christmas. Why is that? They’re so cute and instantly put you in a good mood. You can crochet little Rudi the moose using just a few scraps of leftover yarn, and then decide whether he should adorn your Christmas tree, Advent wreath, a gift package, or your keychain.

With larger Christmas trees, there’s always a bare spot between the top and the first branches that’s hard to decorate.

This little window wreath solves that problem. It has a diameter of 12 cm and features a cheeky little moose sitting on it as if on a swing, happily looking around. To make it, you’ll need just a little yarn, some craft batting, a small Styrofoam wreath and, of course, a crochet hook and the pattern.
You can get it here!

These pretty crocheted stars can spread holiday cheer both as scattered decorations and as tree ornaments. They’re also well-suited as decorations to sew onto various knitted or crocheted items.

Very easy to crochet.

Maybe you’re in the mood for a Christmas tree ornament with a twist? One that will delight anyone who loves crafts. In my Christmas decorations—whether hanging on the tree or displayed on the table—it always draws wide-eyed stares and brings a smile to the viewer’s face.

We’ll knit a small piece, thread it onto toothpicks, and attach a ball of modeling clay or something similar to the ends of the toothpicks. Then we’ll decorate it with artificial snow inside an acrylic ball. And just like that, you’ve created a unique and charming Christmas decoration. A bauble like this would also make a wonderful gift for a craft-loving friend on St. Nicholas Day.

I hope you enjoy making this project. Yours, Ina

The free pattern is available here: Special Christmas Tree Ornament

And since things are getting so Christmassy here, I’d like to share another idea for a quick and easy Christmas decoration. Using a few scraps of yarn, you can crochet some pretty little star doilies. You can’t hang them on the Christmas tree, but they look great underneath it too ;-)

I hope you enjoy these projects too, and have a wonderful holiday season. Yours, Ina

These beautiful glitter balls take a little time to make, so it’s best to get started right away!

The ornaments, which are about 9 cm in size, are made of photo cardstock and decorated with glitter liner. Preparing the individual elements—especially letting the glitter liner dry—takes a little while, but putting them together afterward is quick and easy.

How about Christmas tree ornaments made from corrugated cardboard and photo cardstock? You can customize them to match your personal color preferences and make as many as you need!

The ornaments measure approx. 8 x 7 x 5 cm and are very easy to make. If you use gold or silver paint, they’ll take a little longer to dry than usual and need to be held together during that time—so it’s best to make them when you can do something else at the same time that only requires one hand :-).

The Knobblys also work wonderfully as Christmas tree ornaments :-)

With their diameter of just about 7 to 8 cm and a touch of weight, they decorate the Christmas tree in a fun way ♥

The crochet patterns are very detailed and richly illustrated.

These delicate little Christmas trees are very easy to make from cardstock.
Without an eyelet, they can also be used as table or shelf decorations.

The little Christmas trees are about 7 cm tall and are very well suited even for beginners with a little crafting experience.

Small Santa Claus Ornament
  Santa ornament

They are very easy and quick to crochet and make a lovely little gift to bring for Advent or St. Nicholas coffee
They work well as ornaments, table scatter, and for individually designed greeting cards, and can be easily made by beginners too..
Basic skills: chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet
I used cotton crochet thread, yardage 333 m per 50 g or 273 m per 50 g
(which is also used for crochet blankets) with a size 1.75 hook..
Depending on the material and hook size, the finished result may turn out different
in size.
You can see the comparison with a €2 coin in the image gallery.

Stars with or without sparkling beads

Stars as tree ornaments

Get small crochet projects ready for the Advent season now. They are perfect as pendants,
scattered decorations, and for individually designed greeting cards, and they go well with the little Santas described earlier, since here too I used yarn with a yardage of 330 m and hook sizes 1.75 mm and 2 mm.

Another advantage: if they are “picked off” by little hands or house cats,
there won’t be any broken glass.
The stars can also be made quickly and easily by beginners.

All rounds are explained step by step with text and a crochet chart.
Basic knowledge: magic ring, chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, and
treble crochet stitches

Depending on the yarn and hook size, the stars will vary in size.
The ones shown are between 6 and 10 cm in diameter.
The pattern includes:
4 PDF pages with the complete pattern,
1 text-only page for economical printing
1 page crochet chart
