It’s finally the weekend

Dear users, dear authors,
have a great weekend, everyone.
What are your plans?

Tonight we’re going out to eat at a steakhouse :)
I’m really looking forward to it, even though I’m unfortunately not allowed to eat a medium steak right now... Or fries... (The doctor has forbidden me from eating fried food :( )
Afterward, we’re going bowling.

There are no plans for tomorrow yet—except for me resting—and on Sunday we’re having a barbecue.

To sum it up: Aside from food, nothing much is really planned yet.

Since I finished working at noon today, the cake for tomorrow is already in the oven.

There’s a flea market in the neighboring town tomorrow morning that I’d like to check out. Then we’re invited to a barbecue in the late afternoon, and on Sunday we’ll just take it easy.

That’s the plan, anyway.

I’m going to a kids’ flea market tomorrow to try to sell some of Anton’s stuff. Keep your fingers crossed that the weather cooperates! 

We’re still at the campground, enjoying the beautiful weather. We’ll be heading home on Sunday. I’m already looking forward to the garden and picking raspberries every day. Today I had plenty of time to knit—it was really nice.

Yeah, that cake really looks delicious. It’s practically begging to be snacked on.
@mowie19 Can you still pick raspberries? The season’s long over here. I like those too.

I wish everyone here a wonderful, relaxing weekend. Unfortunately, I have to work again, but I had yesterday off.

Crocheting, though, is always an option. Yesterday I even dug out my beads again and made a little beaded figure and a pair of earrings.

Tomorrow we want to go hiking in the mountains again to make the most of these beautiful, warm (almost hot)
days. I was near the mountains today, at least. Our friend from our old English class took us to the famous Sherlock Holmes waterfall—it was beautiful. 

Our weekend will be filled with work—today my sink was installed, along with other tasks that come with renovating. We’ll continue tomorrow; that’s when my kitchen floor will be laid, and then I can set up my new kitchen.

 

  

Today’s hike took us through a very unique, crater-like landscape:
the rain has washed out sinkholes in the gypsum rock.
My second sock got a heel during the train ride, but now, in the evening, I’m too tired to knit or crochet! Tomorrow we’re going to the Day of Prayer service, and then I still have to bake the traditional plum cake for that day.
