These cute star gnomes are a simple project for crochet beginners that lets you use up even small amounts of yarn (leftover skeins). Crochet them in lots of bright colors! Strung together on a string, they make a pretty, colorful garland to decorate your home during Advent and Christmas. Or use them as pincushions, gift tags, or Christmas tree ornaments—whatever you like!

Homemade St. Nicholas bags are truly something special and can be reused year after year. If you crochet with sock yarn for Christmas socks, the pattern in festive colors comes together all on its own. The edge is crocheted with white fuzzy yarn, giving it the look of white fur. Decorate the bags with a different motif for each family member, so everyone knows right away which bag is “theirs.”

The “Snowman and Snowwoman” pot holders consist mainly of circles and are therefore easy for beginners to master. The remaining parts are also easy to crochet, as everything is explained row by row and round by round with plenty of pictures.
The pot holders are crocheted in double layers so you can slip your hand inside.
All you need to know are: magic ring, chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and crocheting in rounds and rows.

My “Mosaic” triangular shawl is written out row by row, so it’s very long, but absolutely beginner-friendly.
It has already been knitted by many beginners.

You’ll need 300g of yarn with a yardage of 300m per 100g. My original was knitted in cotton.

The English word “Stripes” means “Streifen” in German, and this shawl gets its name from its patterns arranged in stripes.
Whether in spring, fall, or winter, it’s an eye-catcher in every season. And thanks to its simple patterns, which are included in the pattern both in written form and as crochet charts, it’s also suitable for beginners.

To make this project, you’ll need the following materials: 1000 m of gradient yarn—3-ply (50% cotton/50% polyacrylic), a size 3 crochet hook, scissors, and a needle for weaving in the ends

These cute gnomes can soon delight your children as an Advent calendar ... or even your partner. They are very easy to crochet in different sizes. The gnome house is then available on December 24 with a bigger surprise. Later, it can be used, for example, as a storage basket.

It's best to get started right away, so the gnomes will be ready with their gifts from December 1.

Note:

The gnomes and the house are also available separately as a crochet pattern.

The leftover yarn munchers are funny, cute, creative, and liven up any children's birthday party. Best of all: you can crochet with lots of leftover yarn of all kinds here.

They can be used as pencil or needle holders, for buttons or other bits and bobs, or even as original gift packaging.

They are super easy to crochet, and there are no limits to your imagination.

Even though the weather still feels quite summery during the day, you can already feel autumn quite clearly in the mornings and evenings. So it’s a good time to start with your fall decorations. With these fall leaves, you can quickly and easily decorate your windows.

The autumn leaves are made of photo cardstock and translucent paper, approximately 18.3 to 19.2 cm wide and approximately 23.2 to 26.5 cm tall. They’re perfect for both crafting beginners and for crafting with kids!

More information and the knitting pattern can be found here: Loop ANOUK

Happy knitting,

This fall decoration is also perfect for beginners. All you need is to be able to handle a craft knife. But even if you can’t do that yet, that’s no problem: after a few test attempts, you’ll get the hang of it and cut like a pro.

The tea light holder is made of photo board, measures about 12.5 cm, is very easy to make, and is finished quickly.

Here I can introduce you to three designs from my shop that beginners can easily crochet. All patterns include detailed step-by-step instructions and lots of pictures.

Halloween gift bags

At Halloween, candy is a big hit with kids. These cute gift bags are a wonderful way to wrap candy and bring it along to a Halloween party, for example. They also make wonderful decorations. Just stuff them with leftover yarn and place them on the windowsill.
For the gift bags, you only need to know single crochet, slip stitches, and chain stitches.

Beanie CUDDLY HAPPINESS

Even though this beanie looks elaborate and complicated, it is very easy to crochet. For one thing, it is started from the ribbing, so it is easy to adjust to any head circumference. For another, the pattern repeats continuously, so you’ll quickly get the hang of it. The only stitches you need are chain stitches, slip stitches, and half double crochet.

Loop scarf with gradient yarn

This loop scarf was crocheted with gradient yarn, known as a Bobbel. It is worked in a simple pattern that repeats throughout. That’s why it is well suited for crochet beginners. Thanks to the gradient yarn, however, it still looks very varied and anything but boring. The only stitches used are the so-called standard stitches: chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, half double crochet, and double crochet.

If you’re planning to give someone a handmade birthday card, I’d highly recommend this one.

This card is made from photo cardstock and measures 21 x 10.5 cm. It’s also very quick and easy to make, even for craft beginners. Of course, you can easily adapt the card to your own color preferences.

This cell phone case / tissue case is suitable for beginners. Crocheted from a simple granny square—requiring knowledge of double crochet and chain stitches, plus a pretty zigzag border made with half double crochet—this cell phone case can be crocheted quickly using just a few scraps of yarn.
