Great pattern, bad reviews. Is that fair?

I bought Natalija’s pattern for purple sneakers, crocheted them, and am 100% satisfied. I bought the English version because I’m still not very familiar with this site. That means I’ve only been here for a few days :-). So I was wondering why I had received an English pattern and immediately contacted the team. In less than 5 minutes, I received a friendly reply from Alexander Operator along with the German pattern. Overjoyed, I sat down right away and started crocheting. I didn’t crochet all day—I finished the shoes over the weekend without any problems and am wearing them now. They fit well; the size was just right from the start. In total, it took me about 6–8 hours to crochet them, and it was a lot of fun. 

Well… I went to this page today to review the pattern and noticed that many English-speaking women had given it a 1-star review. That’s a real shame, because the pattern and the shoes are great. 

I’ll definitely be buying a few more patterns here. The relaxation while crocheting that Crazypatterns promised was definitely there for me. Thank you so much.
