Chestnut season is almost here again! Until then, you can pass the time by crocheting this cute fall decoration: the Chestnut Child with its almost-real-looking chestnuts.

You’ll need:
Cotton yarn, 125 m/50 g (e.g. Catania), in skin tone and brown
Cotton yarn, 165 m/50 g (e.g. Catania fine), in green
Doll’s wool or mohair yarn in brown (but you can also use the cotton yarn)
2.0 mm crochet hook
2.5 mm crochet hook
Polyester stuffing
1 thick wool needle for sewing together
1 pointed needle for embroidering the face
Black and pink embroidery floss
Chenille wire

The chenille wire makes the Chestnut Child’s arms and legs flexible, so it can sit, stand, walk... The Chestnut Child will be about 12 cm tall.

Late summer is an ideal time for weddings. It’s no longer so hot and not too cold, and the weather is often still very mild and settled. Is there a wedding coming up among your friends?

Most of the time, the bride and groom want a cash gift . With this crocheted wedding couple, you can present the money in a lovely way. Each of the two figures is crocheted around an empty Kinder Surprise egg shell. You can open the figures at the belly and hide the money inside.
Match the appearance of the crocheted couple to the real ones: same hair color, hairstyle, and distinctive features like glasses or a beard... Then it will be a truly personal gift that will be cherished for a long time to come.
You can find details on the materials and the crochet pattern here!

In late summer, evenings often get quite chilly, but you don’t want to turn on the heat just yet. A microwavable heat pillow that provides cozy warmth is the perfect solution.

This crocheted heart makes a pretty cover for it. It measures about 20 x 20 cm, features a pretty bobble pattern on the front, and a pattern consisting solely of single crochet stitches on the back. The increases and decreases are very regular and are described row by row, but there’s also a chart for those who prefer to work from a diagram.
You’ll need about 100 g of cotton yarn for potholders for the pillow.

Door / Window Wreath " Flower Wreath "
The little flowers go very well with late summer/early fall colors.

A hand-crocheted flower/decorative wreath is a special eye-catcher in any home. A jewel for any door or entrance area,
suitable for every season.Only a little yarn is needed to make one flower, so these can be crocheted from yarn scraps
. Ideal for using up leftovers!
The wreaths shown (without decorative ribbon) measure approx. 20 cm x 17.5 cm.

This sleeping bag is very easy to knit. It fits dolls measuring 40–50 cm and small newborns as well. For that, it can also be made a little longer.

A wrap jacket with hat for dolls measuring 40–50 cm, such as Baby Born. This is every doll mum’s dream, because it looks just like one for a real baby.

Easy to knit with the pattern, even for experienced beginners.

Crochet pattern for a scarf

When it starts to get a little cooler again, this scarf / shawl is just the thing.

It starts out narrow and steadily increases in width. A lovely accessory to complement your outfit.

The pattern shows how to make it step by step, with lots of pictures to accompany the sections. Basic knowledge of single crochet, double crochet, and chain stitches is required.

For this scarf, I used 200 grams with a yardage of 210 m / 50 grams.

This bright yellow sunflower is an excellent decoration for late summer. It also makes even gray, rainy fall days seem brighter and more cheerful.

The tea light holder is very quick and easy to make. It’s made from photo cardstock, measures about 14 cm in diameter, and is also very suitable for craft beginners.

The pattern repeats and is very easy to remember! You can determine the size of the shawl yourself. The shawl shown is approximately 190 cm wide and 50 cm tall.
The PDF includes a written pattern and two crochet charts.
