The little beaded pouch is wonderful to crochet on the go using leftover yarn. (You can sew on the beads later at home when you have time.)  In the little pouch, you can store jewelry or small change, as well as makeup items or even tampons. As a case for a rosary, it also makes a lovely personal gift for a First Communion, baptism, or confirmation.
Details about the materials and the crochet pattern are available here!

It’ll soon be Oktoberfest time again! To spruce up a jacket, a necklace, or a scarf, you can crochet these original appliqués. They’re also great as fridge magnets, scatter decorations, for greeting cards, a door wreath, or whatever else you can think of. This way, you can use up even the tiniest leftovers of yarn, and everything is super quick and easy.

Shells are a popular decorative element, especially for the bathroom or toilet. But they also look great on the balcony, the patio, or as part of a nautical-themed decoration (e.g., a door wreath). If you don’t have any real ones on hand, you can easily crochet these 3 different types of seashells. Almost any yarn works for this, making it an ideal project for using up small amounts of leftover yarn.

This counting chain is a lovely way to use up leftover yarn.
The hearts also make great keychains, scented pillows, pin cushions, or even flower stick toppers!

Wrist warmers are a great project for on the go. They’re quick to knit and look great, too.
The pattern isn’t worked in rounds; you knit a rectangle and sew the sides together.

The pattern is explained row by row and is also illustrated with a chart.
All you need is 50g of sock-weight yarn.

This headband with a heart for babies and toddlers is a really cute mini-project. Leftover yarn from larger projects is enough for this, too. Easy to knit, suitable even for beginners with some knitting experience.

Crochet pattern for a dishcloth / trivet for the kitchen—perfect for quickly setting down a pot.

A great project for on the go, since the pattern consists of just one row. You’ll need to know how to make single crochet, chain stitches, and double crochet.

I used cotton yarn for my dishcloths. The shorter the yardage, the thicker and sturdier the dishcloths will be.

A new granny square—for a pillow, as a coaster, or for a blanket.

A granny square is quick to crochet, so you can keep adding them until you reach the desired blanket size.

It can be made in a single color or multicolored, making it a great way to use up your leftover yarn.

Granny Number7 is one of 7 different granny squares from my collection for crocheting a beautiful blanket with a mix of patterns

My recommendations for a small craft project on the go are ...

1. A crocheted mosaic blanket made from lots of squares.

The solid-colored squares are perfect to work on while you're out and about on the train, in the waiting room, or in the garden when you're visiting a friend. At the end, all the squares are crocheted together into a beautiful colorful blanket.

2. Wrist warmers with a decorative cable

These are also always a great small craft project for on the go. Before you know it, you've knitted a pair, for example, for your granddaughter. She could then use her phone despite having warm hands, since her fingertips are free. The thumb is nicely shaped, and the cable on top is also an eye-catcher. Here are two examples:

3. A heart pillow

Also a lovely little project for on the go. Here we crochet lots and lots of "African Flowers," which we join together into a pillow at the end.

For more pictures, information, reviews, and the pattern itself, just click on the heading.

I hope you have lots of fun with the project of your choice.
Warm regards from Ina

From September to October, Germany’s largest folk festival is celebrated in Munich. The pretty Resi is happy to stop by, and of course such a dashing lad as Sepp can’t be missing either.

Nicely dressed up in a lovely dirndl with a matching apron and little bow, Resi is a real eye-catcher. But Sepp, too, equipped with lederhosen, a white shirt, and a hat, has dressed up for going out and
is just enjoying his first fresh beer in a Maßkrug!

If you’re in the mood for a really great time too, then crochet Resi and Sepp with my detailed, illustrated pattern and use them to decorate the breakfast table, because the two are not only lovely to look at, but also useful little helpers.
