Vacation 2019: Who’s going on another trip?

Dear users, dear authors,
Do you still have vacation days left? Are you planning another trip?

I’m heading to the Netherlands for a week—and, of course, to a fabric market—and I’m really looking forward to it.

I’m going on another RV trip in September to visit my grandchildren. Then I’ll also be heading to Austria’s Waldviertel region to a beautifully situated campground surrounded by nature.

I’m heading somewhere in November where it’s warm and green.

Unfortunately, we don’t have anything planned. I’m in the middle of a system migration at work, and everything has to be up and running, planned, and organized. The official launch is in early November. Maybe we’ll take a vacation then. In the meantime, there are always a few scattered days off here and there. 

Since I’ll be on maternity leave starting September 19, we took our summer vacation a little earlier this year. We’re not going anywhere else. At least not for any longer trips :) Short weekend getaways are still possible, of course. 

I still have 5.5 vacation days left for this year, which I theoretically don’t need because I’ll be off for the rest of the year anyway. We’ll see what I do with them. Maybe I’ll treat myself to a crochet week :D 

Gosh, time sure flies. Tina, that went by really fast! The rest of the weeks will fly by too—you’ll see. In the meantime, you can start crocheting some baby clothes—you’ll definitely need them. :)

My last day of work is Wednesday, then I’m off to a campsite in Franconian Switzerland for
2 weeks.
I want to crochet a campsite there, with a caravan and tent, campfire, etc. A friend showed it to me in a book. We’ll see what comes of it 😀

We’re on vacation at the end of August. We’re staying home.
In early November, I’m going to a class reunion. I’m looking for a place to stay nearby.

Your crocheted campsite really interests me. It’s sure to look great. 
Since we’re campers ourselves, I think the idea is especially wonderful.

Would you perhaps like to join in our monthly threads and show your crocheted items there? It’s incredibly motivating! I’m speaking from personal experience. I’m amazed myself at how much I manage to get done since I started taking part.
