Hi Nicki, I tried the horseshoe heel right away—it fits great!
The pattern doesn’t mention that the last double stitch needs to be knitted together with the first side stitch; otherwise, there’ll be a hole!
For the instep, it should say: Knit the first stitches until the end of the heel wall.
