Weekend Plans: You’ve earned it. :-)

Dear users, dear authors,
I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
What are your plans?

We’re having guests over tomorrow, and we’ll be serving vegan cheesecake and delicious homemade vegan ice cream. Whether we’ll be able to sit out in the garden is still up in the air. But it’ll be cozy either way.

I have to work. But since it’s raining the whole time, I’m not missing out on anything anyway. My “weekend” will be from Monday to Wednesday. Since it’s vacation time now, everything’s a bit more relaxed. I’ll be back at my needlework then, too.

I’m doing laundry right now—I’ve already tidied up a bit—and then I still need to go grocery shopping. Oh, and in between, I’m knitting socks. It’s been raining here since yesterday, the temperature is a pleasant 20 degrees, and this afternoon we’re going to visit my parents. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to sit in the garden because of the rain, but it’ll still be really nice. Tomorrow I’ll have to do some studying, but all in all, it’ll be a quiet weekend.

Good morning! The Schlagermove starts at 3 p.m. My husband and Anton are just heading out for breakfast and to do some shopping, so I’ll have plenty of time to get ready. The weather forecast is mediocre: 22 degrees and rain.

We run a farm, so weekends aren’t exactly a breeze here. The chickens want to get out, and so do our dogs. Plus, new vacation guests are on their way. But we’re grateful for every day since we moved from the big city of Frankfurt to Schleswig-Holstein five years ago. And I still have time to knit, too. Right now, I’m working on a short triangular scarf for summer using Lana Grossa Elastic Print. I knitted a sweater out of it before. The quality is really great. Wishing you all a relaxing weekend

My husband and I have the weekend off. The sun is still shining—a bit windy, but still warm—so we can sit outside and have coffee.

I’m baking a cake right now: yeast dough with pudding and cherries, topped with crumble. Mmm, delicious—and whipped cream on the side. Perfect.

I’m also planning to do a little crocheting. The laundry can dry in the sun, too. Wonderful.
All in all, a quiet, relaxed weekend—no visitors, just relaxing with my feet up.

Thanks. I’m in the bath now and absolutely chilled to the bone. At the beginning there were two showers, and the stupid yarn won’t dry.

But it was tremendous fun
