Dear users, dear designers,
how about a few new and tried-and-true animal models?
Now craft fluffy animals / amigurumi.

@Designers,
2-3 patterns per designer are enough. Don’t forget the link and image, as well as the usual info.

I can also contribute some fluffy cuddly creatures; I’ve knitted lots of teddy bears with fuzzy yarn and other little critters. The moose was once featured in a craft magazine, just like the hedgehog.

Thanks, most of these little critters will go to the local children’s charity for Christmas, because I believe every child needs something to cuddle, and a child’s little hand fills up so quickly

That’s great, I think.
If this were the home stretch/awards thread, I’d say this would earn you lots of extra points and make your karma shine. But you’re not taking part (yet). Maybe that’ll change soon. :-)

The first cuddly toy is crocheted by yourself!
Hoppel the Bunny
can be the first cuddly toy for your baby! It is crocheted from three different kinds of yarn, so baby’s little hands always have something new to feel and discover: the head, paws, and little tail are made from soft velvet yarn. Cotton and cuddly yarn are used for the body. Since double crochet stitches are used here, you can still see the stitches well even in the cuddly yarn. The body is not stuffed, so the baby can grasp the bunny like a cuddle cloth.
The eyes and nose are, of course, embroidered on so that Baby cannot swallow any small parts.

You can find details about the materials and the pattern here!

Squirrels are such especially cute animals! Kiki the squirrel isn’t shy at all; she feels especially at home in your apartment and loves to be cuddled. Kiki will be about 14 cm tall and is crocheted using only single crochet stitches. Cotton yarn (yardage 125 m/50 g) is used for the body. For the tail and ears, you’ll also need a little eyelash yarn (e.g., Peppina by Lana Grossa).

You can download the crochet pattern right here!

Real alpacas don’t actually like being petted very much—it makes them nervous. But with Pamina the alpaca, it’s a whole different story. She loves nothing more than being cuddled. My granddaughter adores her!
To make Pamina nice and soft and plush, I used the Phil Douce cuddle yarn from Phildar. In the pattern, I give you lots of tips on the best way to crochet with it. You can find the pattern here!

These two sloths are cuddly and totally relaxed!

With an overall height of approx. 35 cm
they're the perfect size for lots of cuddling. The use of acrylic yarn makes them wonderfully soft, and their sweet look will make you melt :)
The crochet pattern is described step by step, with lots of detailed pictures to help you follow along. Also very suitable for beginners. The first 7 pages of the 30-page pattern are written instructions, and on the remaining pages, the labeled photo tutorials help you achieve a beautiful result.

Dino Pauli is a wonderful playmate even for the very youngest.

He is crocheted in two parts, which are then crocheted together at the end with a contrasting color and single crochet. This means there are no small parts to sew on, and nothing can come loose during play.

The pattern is detailed and written row by row, making it suitable for beginners too; many pictures help you follow along. You should know single crochet, chain stitches, and slip stitches.

Summer, sun ... and koalas!

Here’s the pattern for the value pack

This cute group is available as a value pack or individually in my shop.

The pattern includes detailed descriptions of every round and lots of pictures, so even beginners with basic knowledge can easily make these little animals.

For the large koalas, you’ll need about 100 g of yarn in the main color - this also gives them an impressive cuddly size of about 23 cm. The snuggle factor can be increased even more if teddy yarn is used for the belly and ears.

The little koala needs only about 35 g of yarn in the main color and will be about 16 cm tall - ideal for taking along everywhere as a lucky charm.

Have fun crocheting!

Teddy Björn is the cuddling expert ♥

Using super-soft Scheepjes Stone Washed yarn and a little cotton yarn, he’s actually quite quick to crochet and ready for cuddles in no time :-)

When seated, he’s about 23 cm tall with the materials listed (“standing” approx. 33 cm).
