Wikipedia has an explanation of the Möbius strip, which is named after August Ferdinand Möbius.
The twist makes the scarf (loop) more interesting.
At the Mathematikum in Giessen, there’s a large metal Möbius loop.
On it are toy cars that can drive around both on top and on the underside.
There are photos of this online.
