Dear users, dear authors,
dear little helpers,
are you hard at work or are you taking a break?

I’m busy crocheting and knitting socks, alternating between the two. After the tropical weather, it’s cooled down a bit here, and the sun is hiding behind the clouds. It looks like it’s about to rain. That’s actually quite pleasant after the hot days.

Today I sewed some little mesh bags for shopping out of a laundry bag that’s way too big for me. That way, I can avoid using those flimsy plastic bags for fruits and vegetables.

I’m crocheting and also tinkering with a new pattern again.

With the current temperature at 22 degrees, a heat day off seems quite fitting.

Akela, that’s a great idea—making shopping nets from a laundry net. I always go shopping with nets like that, too, but I bought mine ready-made.

Here, the temperatures are a bit more bearable now, at 25–26 degrees. I’m crocheting every spare minute because I want to finish my skirt. I don’t care how hot it is—it always works with cotton.

It’s cooled off here too, and I took the opportunity to iron the laundry from my vacation. Now I’ve got it all done.
Tomorrow I’ll cook food for Anton again in advance, and I need to repot my tomatoes. My parents are coming tomorrow, and they can keep Anton entertained. Then I always get more done.

Sandra, you’re lucky that Grandma and Grandpa live nearby. That’s a huge advantage for everyone. When my son was little, I unfortunately didn’t have that pleasure. Back then, I even had another child in daycare to look after. And now, unfortunately, we live too far away.

We had cherry cake today—it was delicious! My husband took care of pitting the cherries by hand. I just ordered a cherry pitter—it makes the job much easier.
