A light and airy shawl for summer evenings

Crocheted triangular shawl made with a lightweight summer yarn (99% cotton) in a beautiful color gradient.

The shawl is started at the tip and crocheted to the desired size. Basic knowledge of single crochet, double crochet, chain stitches, and slip stitches is required. At the end, the shawl is finished with a beautiful scalloped edge.

Here you can find the crochet pattern with yarn suggestions

This poncho and shawl combo is perfect for cool summer evenings. You can style it however you like, and its pretty lace pattern and pink waves are sure to turn heads.

A lovely challenge for experienced knitters.

Well, phenomenal summer evenings also include a lovely atmosphere, which can be created, for example, with one or more lanterns. All you need are a few large pickle jars and some colored yarn. In no time at all, you can bathe a summer party in romantic light. You can find the free crochet pattern here.

I hope you enjoy this mini-project. Yours, Ina

Romantic “Fishing Net” Lantern

What I need on cool summer evenings is socks. These ones with the mowi heel are super easy to knit. The pattern explains everything step by step.

Four different sizes are included, so the whole family can enjoy them. :)

Here’s the knitting pattern.

Why not make a beautiful large shawl for the evenings, big enough for two people—e.g., grandma and child—to fit underneath?

Knitting pattern for a large shawl with a lace pattern.

For this shawl, I used 200 grams of the soft, light yarn (Schachenmayr “Highland Alpaca Fino”, 50% alpaca, 50% virgin wool, with a yardage of 250 m / 50 g) to achieve a size of 43 x 165 cm.

The pattern includes 5 pages, is described once row by row, and there is also a knitting chart I created in Excel. Basic knowledge of knit stitches - purl stitches - yarn overs - knitting three stitches together - slip-slip-knit three stitches together - edge stitch is required.

Wrapped in a lovely shawl or blanket, you can still sit outside comfortably in the evening, even when the temperatures are cooler.

If you want to create a lovely atmosphere for that, these crocheted lanterns are just the thing. They make a cozy decoration and are also perfect as a little gift to bring to a barbecue evening!

If it really is too cold to sit outside, the lanterns can also provide atmospheric light indoors in the evening.

   Here’s the pattern

You can get started right away—because all you need is yarn of your choice (the pattern can be easily adapted to different sizes of both the jars you use and the yarn you have on hand) and a crochet hook one size larger than indicated for the yarn.

The pattern includes lots of detailed photos, so it is also suitable for ambitious beginners.

And now—have fun crocheting! Enjoy the summer!

The “Glacier Ice” stole is just right for cooler summer evenings.
It offers many different ways to wear it. Whether as a stole, a poncho, or a pareo at the beach—it’s perfect for many occasions.

The stole is crocheted in five different stitch patterns.
Each pattern is written out in full, and there’s an additional crochet chart at the end of the pattern.
The pattern does not include a beginner’s tutorial. You should already know how to crochet single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet, as well as chain stitches and slip stitches.

Suitable for advanced crocheters.

If shawls are too small for you, you can knit a great blanket for the balcony or patio!
You can also snuggle up under it together...
The blanket stands out with its gorgeous diamond pattern, combined with colorful block stripes (though it can, of course, also be knitted in a solid color!). The pattern is beginner-friendly, and all cable stitches are explained in a photo tutorial.

On cool summer evenings, the Natures Sheepy is just right for snuggling up. Not too big, but at 230 x 65 cm large enough to wear as a stole.

You’ll need 300 g of yarn with a yardage of approx. 450 m per 100 g. Each color has its own pattern, which is explained in detail and also shown as a chart.

A triangular shawl is also popular to wear in summer. Draped lightly around the shoulders, it keeps us warm and protected.

The pattern is explained in writing in the instructions; if you prefer working from a knitting chart, you'll find one included as well.

Here you'll get to the pattern and also find yarn suggestions.
