I'm doing well :)
I did just have a minor car accident (I scraped a car... grr...), but nothing happened, and I looked for the owner of the other car, and he immediately said it wasn't a problem, no big deal, he didn't need a phone number and so on.
Sometimes you can get lucky. The week can only get better :)
Today we have bright sunshine here, but a pleasant 21°.
Great Monday weather.
For lunch today, as always, we're just having bread/rolls. What we'll cook/eat tonight is still up in the air. Since we grilled very generously twice over the weekend, today will probably end up being something light.
Craft-wise, my only goal is to break the 75% mark on my motif blanket... So far I'm at 70% :)
I’m doing well, too. :) I’m already getting everything ready because we’re leaving in the RV on Thursday—heading to see our grandchildren. I’m really looking forward to meeting the youngest one for the first time—she was born on May 24.
Today I tried the vegan chicken fillet from Rügenwalder Mühle for the first time and thought it was delicious.
Later, I had soy yogurt with strawberries and mango.
My lace shawl—which was originally supposed to be a stole, then briefly envisioned as a triangular shawl—will now end up as a diamond-shaped shawl. I think I should be able to finish it this month.
The pattern is practically working itself now.
Otherwise, we’re going for walks where we can watch two kestrels.
Sandra, I love St. Gilgen. You mean the one on Lake Wolfgang in Austria, right?
We stayed at a campground there two years ago, and it was just wonderful.
Yes. It’s wonderful. We just stopped by the swimming spot for a bit. :-) But Anton hasn’t dared to go in yet. Today is a day for exploring, totally relaxed. The last two days were a bit exhausting because of the long drive. On Saturday, we drove from Hamburg to Leipzig. That’s when Anton lost his favorite stuffed animal. What a bummer. We bought him another soft toy. Luckily, he accepted it. .... I wouldn’t have thought so.
On Sunday, we drove from Leipzig to Bayreuth, and yesterday—with a stop at the Ingolstadt outlet mall—we headed to St. Gilgen.
We always stayed in hotels at our stopovers, and now we’re in a nice vacation apartment.
