On Sunday, we’re driving out to visit friends in the Salzburg region, and we’ll be having a vegan barbecue there in the evening.

Other than that, I’ll be enjoying the garden and, of course ... some time to knit.

I also wish you all a wonderful Pentecost—enjoy the long weekend! Weather-wise, it already feels like summer. My husband is going fishing with his friend on Sunday. I was actually planning to spend the day relaxing and chatting with my friend in the garden. But since I’ve come down with a bad summer flu and haven’t had a voice for 3 (!) days, I unfortunately had to cancel. So I’ll be sitting in the cool shade and crocheting. You don’t need a voice for that :-)

I also wish you a great Pentecost and, above all, some lovely days off. Best regards to everyone who has to work these days, too.

We’ll be firing up the grill and have a few bike rides planned. Hopefully the weather will cooperate—right now it’s perfect, not too hot and not too humid :-)

I’ll be relaxing in my parents’ garden with my knitting, chatting with my parents over coffee, cake, and, of course, ice cream.

Happy Pentecost from me, too.
We took a short vacation last week—first for a confirmation in Bad Tölz for friends’ daughter, and then a few days in Salzburg, with a stopover at Lake Chiemsee.
It’s really beautiful there...
Unfortunately, we had to come back before Pentecost because my husband is on call now.
We’ll take it easy these next few days and hope he isn’t called in too often… but since many of his colleagues are away on short breaks, the chances are good for a quiet weekend.

I hope you all have lovely Pentecost holidays with plenty of sunshine. Have lots of fun and relax.

I still have some time off, too.

@Ina: Get well soon. I had a cold like that during the first week of my vacation, too—you can’t really enjoy anything properly (outings), but crocheting and knitting do help.

Today I helped a friend at the weekly market. She runs a volunteer organization that collects donations for various institutions in Uganda.
What was really touching: an 8-year-old boy came up and said, “I want to donate too,” rummaged through his backpack, and then pulled out 20 cents. That was really sweet.

Anton is staying with my parents until Monday. Tonight, my husband and I are going to the theater. I have to work tomorrow and Monday, but tomorrow evening we’re going out for a nice dinner. It’ll be nice despite work. 

We just finished our little hike.

The rest of the weekend will be very relaxing.

Good morning. I’m on my way to work right now. I’m having serious withdrawal symptoms. I haven’t been able to crochet for the last 3 days. It’s really awful. But tonight after work, I can finally do it again. :-)
