Wasti the dachshund isn’t just a loyal guardian—he also keeps your desk tidy! In this cute pencil case, you can store pens, craft scissors, and glue, as well as your crochet hooks or sets of double-pointed needles. That way, you’ll always know where your things are—because Wasti is keeping an eye on them!

To crochet Wasti, you’ll need about 40 g of cotton yarn and some fluffy yarn for the ears and tail, a 3.0 mm crochet hook, some stuffing, googly or safety eyes, and a zipper (approx. 12 cm). You can crochet Wasti in a single color or use up your leftover yarn—then Wasti will be nice and colorful!

These dogs are especially hot!

“Hot Dogs” taken literally! The “hot dogs” in buns are cute enough to eat, but unfortunately you can’t actually eat them! But they will keep indefinitely...

You can quickly crochet these hot dogs from just a few bits of leftover yarn and have a fun decoration for your barbecue party. I used cotton with a yardage of 125 m / 50 g, in the colors rust red, curry, vanilla, and camel. Add a little craft stuffing, safety eyes, and embroidery thread, and you’ll have all your materials ready.
You can find the crochet pattern here!

How about a protector in the kitchen?

The potholder with a husky motif is crocheted in the Tunisian simple stitch; the pattern includes a practice section for this great crochet technique, and it’s not that hard at all.

For materials, you’ll need cotton yarn in your desired colors and a size 3 Tunisian crochet hook; you’ll find more detailed material information in the pattern.

The pattern is written in a beginner-friendly way, without abbreviations.

This wolf was once a freebie on the web, and it was embroidered onto a pillow for the grandsons.
