Knitwear

Dear users, dear authors,
over in the other thread someone requested a separate thread for knitwear.
What would you like to share with me about this?

Knitted fabric is made by knitting one stitch after another in rows. Jersey falls under the term knitted fabric, and to some extent sweatshirt fabric does too, though some of it is also made as warp-knit fabric. As you can see, it isn’t all that easy to distinguish between the two manufacturing methods and keep them apart.
Fleece is also partly *knitted* and partly warp-knitted.
Then I have the next keyword, if it hasn’t come up before: boiled wool/loden fabric
