All children love Kasperl puppet theater! Of course, it's even better when they can play with self-crocheted puppets that no one else has!
With just a little leftover yarn, you can create a wonderful ensemble for the puppet theater:

Choo choo choo, the train is here—who wants to go on vacation?
A crocheted train is a wonderful toy, especially for little children, because it is sturdy and doesn’t mind if it gets tossed around. It can safely be explored with the mouth, and if it has been taken outside, it can also be washed without any problem.
But a train like this also makes a great decorative piece for all train fans!
It is crocheted from cotton yarn and reinforced and filled with foam, felt, and craft stuffing. The individual cars are coupled together with hook-and-loop fasteners. The train can carry small dolls (about the size of Playmobil figures) as passengers.

For all the little DIYers who love spending time at the hardware store, this little forklift makes a great gift.
It can also present a gift to a “big boy” — for example, a gift card for the hardware store?
It’s not hard to crochet, and you don’t need much material either. A little crafting and sewing is also required, but even beginners can handle it easily.

Don’t have enough space for a big puppet theater?
You can also have a wonderful time putting on a puppet show with finger puppets. Young children in particular, who can’t quite hold the big puppets yet, really enjoy this. Finger puppets are quick and easy to crochet from a few pieces of leftover yarn.

Depending on yardage and needle size, the little shoes will have a sole length of 6–7.5 cm. You should be familiar with knit and purl stitches, knitting stitches together, and using a set of double-pointed needles.

Whether indoors or in the garden, the balloon is protected in this cover and doesn't pop as easily. Whether for the little ones to grasp and crawl after, or for older children to play soccer with, it will get plenty of use.

Crochet pattern for a dinosaur



Dino Pauli is quick to crochet and ready to play. The front and back pieces are each crocheted in one piece and then crocheted together with one round of single crochet in a contrasting color. 

Depending on the yarn, the dinosaur will be 31 cm tall and 40 cm long.

This little bear is designed especially for babies and toddlers. It’s very easy to knit, even for beginners with basic skills.

I also designed perfectly fitting clothes for this bear. Since it’s sure to be loved very much, the clothes give it a bit more protection and it won’t need to be washed as often.

These clothes—both the sweaters and the sleeping bag—also fit other dolls or teddy bears measuring 35–40 cm. Two versions of the sweater are shown.

I designed these striped pants for a teddy bear about 40 cm tall with a big belly. They are very easy to knit, even for beginners with basic skills.
