Choosing Yarn

Hello,
Can anyone help me choose the right yarn? I use Anchor Frecchia yarn in size 12, and I’d like to find a comparable yarn from another company, since Anchor’s color palette isn’t extensive enough for me.

Hi Joana,

there’s also Manuela crochet yarn with a similar yardage (though in fewer colors), and Scheepjes Maxi Sweet Treat might also work. And Scheepjes really does have a lot of colors :-)

Hi Joana, I took a look at the color palette for your yarn. It has over 60 colors. I’m not even sure if there are any yarns out there that come in even more colors.

@Petra: That’s probably the same for me with Catania. I really miss that beautiful lime green they used to have :-) That’s exactly the color that makes me have to switch to other brands *sniff*

@ Marion: That’s always a problem. You have the same color for a long, long time. And then, BAM—the next time you order, it’s simply a different shade. I’ve had that happen too. When I unpacked the delivery, I suddenly had a completely different color; it felt a bit like walking out of the hairdresser totally unhappy. Terrible, just terrible.
