I always like to have a shawl with me at the beach—for walks along the shore, to block the wind, or for sun protection.



Crocheted from a wonderful, lightweight yarn (e.g., Tahiti by Schachenmayr, 99% cotton), this shawl is simply practical.

Basic knowledge of chain stitches, double crochets, and single crochets is required. The pattern is written out row by row, and you’ll also find a crochet chart of the pattern.

I like to carry some money with me to the beach or the pool, but I don’t always want to bring my whole wallet. These mini organizers can be crocheted in two sizes and are perfect for storing money, headphones, or even band-aids. 


You’ll need:
30 g of cotton yarn (125 m/50 g) in a color of your choice, a size 2.5
crochet hook (this will make the organizer quite sturdy), scissors, a sewing needle, and 2
snap buttons, Color Snaps, or self-adhesive
Velcro. This pattern does not include a crochet tutorial.

Children’s Blanket – Little Starfish
