The colorful spring meadow with egg cozies, egg outfits, floral decorations, placemats, and coasters has been bringing spring into my home for several weeks now.

Here you can crochet with lots of colorful leftover yarn and bring creative ideas to life with the different examples of egg clothing.

The decorations are fun to crochet. Very well suited for beginners with basic skills.

Crocheted flower children are always a wonderful decoration when you’re waiting for spring, because they let you have the most beautiful spring blossoms right in your living room, even when it’s still too cold outside.

Especially fitting right now are:

  the Crocus flower children
  Snowdrops and Bellflowers
and the Pussy Willow flower child

All flower children are about 12–13 cm tall, have bendable arms and legs, and can be crocheted from leftover yarn. If you decorate with them together, you’ll have a wonderful spring meadow at home.

You can find more flower children (also for other seasons) in my collection in the shop:

For a spring-themed coffee gathering, I recommend my butterfly-shaped napkin holders. Crocheted from leftover yarn, they’ll bring a springtime vibe to your home. They also look great on Easter branches.

If you're still looking for a new spring doily and already have some initial crochet experience with treble crochet, the "Tulip" crochet doily is just right for you. It is large enough for coffee tables, etc. Each round is described in detail and illustrated with a photo.

This decoration looks great on any table—whether it’s spring or summer. And it’s quick to crochet using white cotton yarn. This is how you can turn an old pickle jar into an original vase or tealight holder. Click here for the pattern.

I hope you enjoy the pattern. Best wishes, Ina

This charming decorative garland with butterflies in sun-kissed colors is actually intended as a window decoration. But since it’s glued on both sides, it can also be used as a room decoration: Attached to a ceiling light, it’s a pretty, mood-boosting piece that sways with every breeze.

All the butterflies are made from photo cardstock; the largest butterfly is about 21.5 cm wide. The garland is about 83 cm long in total. To make it, all you need is a little patience and well-developed fine motor skills.

Lots of color, good cheer, and springtime are what these cute chickens bring to your breakfast table. "Lady Gagack" and her sociable friends are quick to make and perfect for using up leftover yarn.
Egg cozy, edge sitter, or cute table decor - maybe with a few chocolate eggs hidden underneath.

The motifs of this sweet decorative chain can be combined with each other however you like. You can also crochet, for example, a chain with only hearts or only flowers.

You can use this decorative chain with bunnies, hearts and/or flowers for many purposes, e.g. as table decor for Easter breakfast, window decor, decoration for an Easter branch or door wreath, garland, necklace, etc.

The chain is crocheted in one “go,” works up super quickly, and you only need a few scraps of leftover yarn.

Here’s the pattern

These cute little chickens really get you in the mood for spring. “Berta and Gundel” look great on an Easter branch, door wreath, window, etc., but they’re also real eye-catchers as bag charms or keychains.

You can enjoy this little basket with its delicate crocuses all spring long: It’ll stay with you until summer, and at Easter you can even turn it into an Easter basket.

The basket is made of photo cardstock and measures approximately 14 x 21 x 19 cm. The flowers are made of photo cardstock, crepe paper, and wire. Both the basket and the flowers are very easy to make.

With Easter in April, there’s a good chance we’ll be able to celebrate the holiday in the garden or on the patio.

Flowers and candles are part of any beautifully set table. This glass cover is quick to crochet, and many an old empty jar will work well for it. You should know chain stitches, double crochet, and single crochet.

You can find the pattern here

A crocheted basket like this can hold quite a lot. Why not add a few spring blooms right now in March?

The stitch pattern is explained in detail in the pattern, with plenty of pictures. The thicker your yarn, the larger the baskets will be.

The most versatile Easter bunny there is:

Here’s the pattern

This is "Simon - the hardworking Easter bunny"! This cute bunny is so versatile that he fits perfectly in an Easter basket, works as a spring decoration, and even looks great on a door wreath! Definitely an eye-catcher that puts a smile on everyone’s face! The pattern is suitable for beginners and can mostly be made with leftover yarn.
