Hardworking Little Elves on March 5, 2019

Dear users, dear authors,
dear little helpers,
how are you all doing? What are you working on?

I’m doing great!
I’m currently knitting toe-up socks, but it’s taking me forever—and really ought to count double for being hardworking, since I’m not putting them aside! On the side, I’m currently tinkering with a spring decoration; I came up with something funny last night—let’s see if I can pull it off like that...

I’ve finished another sampler that can be used for various purposes:



Now I’m working on a breezy crocheted hat.

Yesterday I sewed and embroidered some kitchen towels for my granddaughter

I had an idea for my Easter gifts...

I always make little homemade things for my family’s Easter breakfast.

I sculpted the owls out of air-drying modeling clay.
Then I baked a delicious cake and painted and decorated the empty eggshells.

I’ve now put it all together with some decorative moss to make a prototype…

Even though I feel like something’s still missing inside the eggs, I like the result—let’s see if I can come up with something else.

I’ve added some small twigs to the design, and now I think it looks just right.
To me, it looks as if the owl is sitting in a nest... so I’m going to finish them all like this now.
