Definitely! The days are getting shorter and colder, and it’s getting less pleasant outside… for me, there’s nothing better than curling up in my favorite armchair with my knitting. I’ve noticed that I make much faster progress with my knitting in the fall than in the summer, when it’s so hot that you don’t want to have yarn on your hands or on your lap. ;-)
And when there are a few candles burning and a steaming cup of hot tea in front of me—perfect! ☺
A nice hot cup of tea or a glass of wine, and then I get started.
I’ve always hated those cold, wet days of the year.
Now that I have this great new hobby,
I couldn’t wait for the hot days to finally be over.
Of course it is :-D
For one thing, it’s slowly getting unpleasant outside,
so you’d rather sit inside where it’s warm. It also gets dark earlier, so you can wind down sooner and don’t have to “get things done” outdoors anymore.
And then, of course, Christmas is just around the corner, so you can start on some gifts and finish them at your own pace.
Absolutely,
in spring, Easter decorations and the first summer items; in summer, knitting in the garden; in autumn, getting ready for winter; and in winter, knitting warm things and the first hints of spring.
