Right now, I love anything to do with lace. It’s just the right thing to take my mind off things and keep my thoughts from going in circles. The harder it is, the better.

My current favorite technique is, once again, trying out different knit-purl stitch patterns. I’m also really enjoying knitting top-down raglan right now—for dolls, teddy bears, and babies.

Right now, I’m really into crocheting. I’ve made a few little items for Easter that you can hang on bouquets. There are almost no knitting patterns for these, so I’m crocheting them instead.

And I currently prefer crocheting again.

After crocheting a Yoshi for my grandson (freehand, without a pattern, just from pictures), I moved on to an Easter bunny. I’m trying to crochet the front section in one piece (then the back section) and thus keep the animal’s shape. I find that really exciting at the moment.
